Talent Identification (TID)

Talent identification (TID) is responsible for developing scouts worldwide to find the best football talent the Klang valley has to offer.

We are committed to expanding and improving our scouting network through accessible and holistic education, age-appropriate identification, and club outreach. Developing the scouting network enables us to grow the National Development Program pool and find youth players with the most talent and potential to build the bright future of Malaysia footballers.

Our Philosophy

Talent can be developed in the right environment

Talent can be developed in the right environment

The club must drive talent identification in their communities through networking

Identification and examination must happen within the context of the game

Players develop at different rates and their performance trajectory is non-linear

In building relationships with all communities

In a gender-neutral approach where we can and a gender specific approach where needed

Scouts must use a common structure for examining players and speak the same club language

Talent identification is an examination and monitoring process with long term objectives where performance and potential are influenced by environment, age and maturation
